Bali Information Blog - Jun 21, 2010
The most sweet couple I’ve ever meet. When I saw, Manuel looked at Laura, I saw loved. Heard their story that they’ve been together for 10 years now. Wow, only that expression that I can gave them. Laura was a beautiful lady and very kind, she’s always agree with all the idea’s that I gave her, and Manuel was a handsome man but he was little bit quite. He always agreed with all Laura said for the wedding plan, because he wanted to make her happy. Wish I always have this kind of clients.
Their wedding was held at the St. Mikael Church, the Church is located in the central of Seminyak, very closed to Seminyak beach even though the church doesn’t have a beach view but still it’s very beautiful church. Set amidst Seminyak’s landscaped gardens is also the quaint St Mikael Church where couples descend from all over the world to recite their marital vows, and then celebrate by sipping champagne on Dhyana Pura’s private beach. ![]() ![]() St Mikael Church was built by a Japanese company that modelled the church on London’s Westminster Abbey. I understand that this church was a gift from the Japanese Government, with the intention that it be used to celebrate the weddings of Japanese couples in Bali. The Christian Church of Bali (GKPB) is the owner of the church. Its architectural style was a Japanese decision - the Balinese Christians use a deliberate Balinese architectural style for their other churches. Before it was only Japanese couple can married in this church but now days since 2006, other nationality couple could married there. ![]() Get Back to Laura and Manuel, my lovely couple. They had chosen to get married in the church because they said they want to married in the house of God, and the had chosen St. Mikael as there best choice, it’s beautiful, it’s sacral and unique. Thursday, 20th May 2010, their wedding day, the sky are very blue, no rain at all, it was the perfect weather. My team had décor the church to make it more beautiful with flowers. They don’t have so many guests; it was only 16 persons who are family and best friends. Manuel and all the guests were in the church waiting for the beautiful bride, Laura to come. Manuel standing very nervous at the altar, and then the singer play the walking song “You’re the one”, first and second bridesmaids who also best friends of Laura had reached the altar, then the beautiful bride Laura, comes with holding his father hand. All the guests and specially Manuel looked very surprise, to found Laura in her wedding dress, she was like a princes. ![]() The ceremony done smoothly and when I saw both of them were saying their vows, I saw so many loved between them, it was magic. You also could felt how deep their love to each other. After the Priest announces that they are now husband and Wife, tiers comes from Laura eyes but I’m sure that was a happy tiers. Congratulation for both of you, I wish all the best. ![]() ![]() Jun 21, 2010 Manuel and Laura wedding
